Highlights

The piazza grande in Montepulciano is full of restaurants

MONTEPULCIANO

If we would have to choose a place representing the essence of Tuscany, that place would be Montepulciano. A maze of roads, bordered by Medieval architectures, that unexpectedly lead to a piazza with the church and townhouse; wine shops with bottles artfully lined on the shelves and restaurants spreading the smell of roasted meat all around: this is Montepulciano. This Medieval town in Southern Tuscany is an important agricultural center, famous for its Vino Nobile. Once there you’ll be able to enjoy some amazing panoramic views. Walk around through the narrow streets, enjoy the views, and really experience Italy’s rich history.

ORGANIC CHEESE FARM

The farm is located in one of the most beautiful places you will ever come across, near Pienza in Val d’Orcia in Southern Tuscany. You will get a tour of the farm to see how Tuscany’s famous pecorino cheese is made. Besides the tour you will also enjoy a superb lunch made of the farmhouse products. You’ll taste the passion that gets into the making of the cheese.

THE WINERY

If you’re into history then you’ll love this winery. It is home to some of the oldest bottles of Brunello wine – no other winery has been producing the famous Brunello wine as long as them. Have a taste of history, learn more about wine, and relax. Here it is all about savouring Tuscany’s goods.

MONTALCINO

After having tasted one of Italy’s most famous wines it is time to discover Montalcino, home of the Brunello. Outside of being the birthplace of the wine, Montalcino is a classic fairytale hilltop town. Visit its fortress built in 1361, the clock tower at the Palazzo dei Priori or one of its museums.
